The Villas

1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom pool villas capture commanding ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand as they cascade down to the radiant blue waters of the sea. Thai silks and hand crafted artworks enrich the stylish interior design and offer the perfect balance between traditional Thai and contemporary styles.

Expansive pavilions in each villa are open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Cable TV/DVD, wireless surround sound and internet connections are standard to all villas. Double doors open onto the courtyard and open-air daybed pavilion with an infinity pool that drops off to captivating ocean views.

Each bedroom in the accommodation pavilion features a private om. The master bedroom is spacious and appointed with a four-poster bed, walk-in wardrobe and generous bathroom with double vanity. The second bedroom in the 2, 3 and 4 bedroom pool villas features both an indoor en-suite bath and tropical outdoor shower.

Select 4 bedroom pool villas are stunningly located on the beachfront where a few steps can take one from the villa pool to warm sand between the toes and lapping waves. Restaurant & Bar

Padma is not only the centre of all things culinary at Karma Samui Villa Resort, it is also among the finest destination restaurants on Koh Samui island. First there is the location; the restaurant looks out over the gulf of Thailand, with tables set on a semi al fresco verandah embedded in the cliff face, just meters above the beach. Polished hard wood floors provide an appealing contrast to the light marquee style roof structure - diaphanous white tensile fabric stretched over slender poles - while diners can glimpse Karma Samui's culinary team at work in the open kitchen. Pre-dinner aperitifs and post-dinner cocktails can be enjoyed at the adjacent bar, or on at Rock Pool, set on an expansive terrace hanging above the beach.

Rock Pool is the ideal spot for those wishing to get even closer to the ocean, but without getting their feet wet or sand between their toes. This is Karma Samui's sophisticated bar/lounge facility - a 200 square meter deck, which extends outward to the ocean's edge. Here, white chairs and lounges are set with thick upholstery in shades of earth and turquoise, reflecting the surrounding environment and custom stools are set at a wooden balustrade at the front - the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail accompanied by a selection of global tapas dishes that are perfect for sharing.

Location & Map

Five minutes south of Karma Samui is Chaweng Beach - a 3km long strip off the island's ring road that is lined with a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars and clubs. During the day one can shop for traditional Thai artifacts at the local markets or look for bargains amongst the branded outlets, many of which carry designer products manufactured in Thailand.
